This year it has been decided due to available resources from our public servants that we will not hold our own National Night Out Event.  Please consider attending one of the regional events put on by the Washington County Sheriffs Department.  All the information can be found on their website.  NNO

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Officer McGruff will be at the following community events on the evening of August 2, 2016:
Banks National Night Out – 44950 NW Hartwick Road
Cornelius National Night Out – Harleman Park
Metzger National Night Out – Metzger Park

Coming Tuesday August 4th, 2015 from 6p, to 830p at John Marty Park, Arbor Ridge HOA and the Charlais Women’s Network will be hosting National Night Out.  Come to this great event to spend time with your neighbors.  Bring a pot luck dish and your own items to grill on the provided grills.  Games and Fun for the Kids, Appearances by the Washington County Sheriff and information on being safe.

The sheriff’s office came through at the last minute and Arbor Ridge and The Charlias Women’s Network will be able to put on the event.

Arbor Ridge and the Charlais Womens Network have been working over the last couple of weeks coordinating with Washington County Sheriffs’ department for the National Night Out to take place on this Tuesday, August 5th.

We are sorry to say that this years event needs to be cancelled due to resources still pending to be allocated to the Bethany area.  They are still having the event at other location, but just not in our area this year. We haven’t received a call back to confirm.  So we think it is best to cancel and try to re-coordinate next year etc.

It is a new year and the first newsletter is out.

ARHA February 2014 Newsletter

Arbor Ridge and the Charlais Women’s Network (CWN) sponsored the first neighborhood combined National Night Out at the John Marty Park on August 6th.  There was over 100+ attendees for the event. Guests attending the event included five Deputy Sheriffs, The McGruf Crime Dog and special guest Washington County’s Sheriff Pat Garrett.

Arbor Ridge sponsored the soda drinks, water, cool aid stand and Children’s raffle.

Saturday, June 15^th from 9 am to 2 pm — The Arbor Ridge HOA Community Garage Sale
Thursday, July 4^th from 8 am to 2 pm — Celebration at the John Marty Park (Parade, Games, Crafts and all kinds of good food)
Tuesday, August 6^th evening picnic — National Night Out – support to the Neighborhood Watch Program (John Marty Park)

Back in March it was reported that a couple of homes in Arbor Ridge had been broken into and some homes had attempted break ins.  (Post) The Washington County Sheriff has reported that these suspects have been caught.  Please read the press release below about this arrest.
