Oregon to receive $2.8M from Equifax settlement - Mon, 22 Jul 2019
On Monday, Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum announced that Oregon will receive $2.8 million from a nationwide settlement reached with Equifax, the consumer reporting company that experienced a massive data breach and exposed the private information of more than 147 million people in 2017.   Oregon residents affected by the breach will be eligible to apply for restitution. Chip giant IntelCorp. is reportedly back in talks to sell its smartphone modem business to Apple Inc., according to the Wall Street Journal.
